Protexis Named to the 2004 "Ready to Rocket 25" List

January 15, 2004, Vancouver, BC – Protexis Inc. is pleased to announce that they have been named to the "Ready to Rocket 25" list which names twenty-five B.C. companies who are best positioned to capitalize on the information technology (I.T.) trends that will contribute to faster growth than the I.T. sector as a whole. The process of choosing the twenty-five companies for the "Ready to Rocket 25" list involves mapping hundreds of technology companies against the key trends identified in the Rocket Builder I.T. Outlook 2004 report.

Among the trends that Rocket Builders sees for 2004 are scarce IT dollars, the need for security; the need for companies to be always-connected; the need for real-time information for corporations; and evolving application and communications architectures.

"We are pleased to be included in the Ready to Rocket 25 list," said Murray Hendren, Protexis Chief Executive Officer. "The success we have seen over the past year clearly indicates that digital licensing is the right solution for managing software licenses over the life of a product."
