Protexis Goes Live with iLOR's HydraLinks

November 19, 2001, Vancouver, BC – Protexis Inc., a leading provider of software license transaction services, announced today that iLOR, LLC has chosen the state-of-the-art Protexis nTitles™ system for its HydraLinks software.

The Protexis nTitles system is a sophisticated license transaction system that combines product activation with distribution channel support and integrated commerce capability. The nTitles system makes software purchasing easy while preventing unauthorized copying. Protexis solutions have satisfied global requirements.

Reid Shumate, Security Manager at iLOR, stated, "Protexis has exceeded our requirements for a flexible and powerful licensing solution. We required a licensing and commerce system that would allow us to easily satisfy the high market interest in HydraLinks. The cost-effectiveness and amount of ongoing effort required to launch and manage the licensing system was an important concern in evaluating licensing solutions. Protexis has integrated a solution that gives us the capability and flexibility we need to make HydraLinks a success."

"We are really excited about the iLOR launch," said Tom Armstrong, Vice President of Business Development for Protexis. "iLOR has a great product and a compelling business model. iLOR is taking full advantage of the internet to distribute HydraLinks to a global audience and nTitles has met their requirements every step of the way. They wanted their product to be available conveniently and instantly to anyone with access to the internet and at the same time to capture maximum possible revenues. At Protexis, we have recognized the important linkage between software licensing and commerce. iLOR's commitment to our nTitles solution is a validation of our vision for the future of software licensing."
